We're looking for an ambitious and goal-driven sales manager who understands the local market and can develop a team of top sales people in the commercial, high end residential, and builder market segments. We need a self-starter who can hit the ground running and always strives to exceed profit margins and revenue targets. Our next area sales manager is self-assured and has excellent communication skills to maintain relationships with existing customers while also seeking out new prospects through referrals and networking. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least three years of experience in managing sales, preferably in the hospitality industry and or the building industry. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and relationships within these segments and will have the ability to develop and manage an outside sales team that pursues these segments. Responsibilities
  • Study and research local market trends and competitor activity to discover potential leads
  • Keep a list of important clients up to date to ensure the ongoing development of relationships
  • Motivate the sales team to meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profit margin targets

  • Recruit, develop, train, motivate, and lead a team of high performing professional sales people
  • Be able to help develop sales operations and strategy to grow the sales team
  • Review and manage through CRM
  • Develop a pipeline of relationships and projects through the sales team
  • Increase new business and accelerate revenue generation by cold calling, on-site visits, sales tours, networking events with your sales associates


Qualifications
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales management or a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively

  • Prior experience working with developers, builders, designers, hospitality, commercial, high end residential customers and projects
  • Prior experience selling to large projects and high profile customers is a plus
  • Looking for a great leader that communicates well, cares about their team, and strives to be the best

Compensation
$70,000 -$100,000
