We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Area Sales Coordinator in the Madison/Middleton market. In this role, you will support the sales efforts for the Hilton Garden Inn Madison West/Middleton, Courtyard by Marriott Madison West/Middleton, and Residence Inn Madison West/Middleton. All three hotels are under new ownership and management and slated for new and exciting renovations.
- Types contracts for Sales & Catering Managers
- Answers telephones and documents Sales & Catering leads
- Follows up or distributes appropriately, leads with the Sales & Catering Managers
- Coordinates with the appropriate departments in the hotel, and resolves any issues, complaints, and problems to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction
- Reviews all upcoming room blocks and ensures the distribution of upcoming room block sheets to appropriate department heads on a weekly basis
- Ensures the proper completion and distribution of all required sales and/or documentation on a timely basis
- Assists in collecting proper payment for functions in accordance with hotel standards
- Adheres to all Sales Office Policies as they relate to filing set-up, account maintenance, etc
- Prior hotel sales, catering experience
- Strong admin skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience working with a sales system
- Marriott and or Hilton experience ideal but not required
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
- Motivated personality
