Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is growing! We are seeking a talented Archaeologist to join the Aerostar Environmental and Construction (AEC) team, a subsidiary of BBCH. In this crucial role, you'll serve as a cultural resources monitor on a remediation site in Spartanburg, SC (approximately 6+ months). Note: This position may be REMOTE or is eligible to work out of our many office locations! Jacksonville, FL, Charleston SC, Lorton, VA, Oak Ridge, TN, etc.
- Supervise field activities to ensure compliance with cultural resources management requirements
- Provide guidance to the Project Manager related to cultural resources protection
- Prepare daily reports of field activities upon completion of the cultural resources monitoring project in Spartanburg, South Carolina
- Graduate degree in archeology, anthropology, or a closely related field
- At least one year of full-time professional experience or equivalent specialized training in archeological research, administration, or management
- At least four months of supervised field and analytic experience in general North American archeology
- Demonstrated ability to carry research to completion
