Job Summary
The Marketing Advisor is the primary liaison to all Baird & Warner Residential Sales agents, responsible for interpreting and evaluating their business needs, and translating them into tangible marketing strategies and deliverables in support of their stated goals. The marketing advisor collaborates with a dedicated marketing coordinator.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Assesses agents’ needs to provide effective and timely marketing solutions that align with their stated strategic goals and support the growth and profitability of their business.
- Works collaboratively with agents and management to explore new marketing solutions and proactively seeks opportunities to leverage Baird & Warner’s suite of capabilities, tools, and services to meet current and future business needs.
- Oversees the execution of integrated marketing projects and initiatives against stated goals and timelines, integrating with coordinating departments to ensure a seamless delivery experience with consistent application of brand image and messaging.
- Manages the marketing coordinator to ensure they deliver the highest level of quality, responsiveness, and results, which supports and promotes Baird & Warner’s reputation as growth-focused, industry-aware, and solution-driven.
- Leverages data and industry intelligence to shape results-driven campaigns across multiple channels, including print, digital, online, social media, public relations, and events as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position currently manages 3 direct reports; two graphic designers and one marketing coordinator with the possibility for more directs in the future.
Qualifications
To be successful, the individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily:
- Strong familiarity with all media vehicles, including outdoor, broadcast, direct mail, social media, and digital advertising
- Deep understanding of how these vehicles work together and be able to identify and profile target audiences
- Firm grasp of effective design principles as they relate to the agent and their brand
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and a minimum of five years of proven marketing or advertising operations experience are required
- Outstanding project management and a solid understanding of the real estate industry are required
- Experience working as an account manager or director at an advertising agency is preferred
- Proven experience with offline, online, event, and social media marketing, and proficiency in Acrobat, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office software are required. Creative Suite software knowledge is a plus
Language & Communication Skills:
- Outstanding client service, organizational, project management, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required. The ability to lead by example in these areas is essential
- Must be able to remain positive, supportive, and focused while expertly managing multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities
- Understanding of multiple marketing perspectives — primarily B2C and secondarily B2B

Compensation
$60,000 - $70,000 yearly
