The Monday Team seeks an Administrative Assistant in Oakland, CA
Looking to change your life? It’s possible with the Monday Team. We’re seeking an Administrative Assistant who’s looking to grow, learn, lead, and contribute. If that’s you, read on.
You’re a great communicator and a natural helper. You not only crave organization, but you’re adept at creating order and processes where you see opportunities for them. You’re steady and even-keeled with the ability to problem-solve and manage multiple projects at once. You have a favorite project/task management system (e.g. Trello). You ask the right questions for clarity and anticipate others’ needs (“proactive” is your middle name). You’re not afraid to get on the phone or jump in when help is needed. You’re eager to learn about real estate, but you’re not looking to become an agent. And you like to have fun!
Here are some of the key proficiencies we’re looking for:
A day in the life
The best thing about this job is that it’s never boring. No two days are the same, but some of the main job duties include:
Who are we anyway?
The Monday Team at Keller Williams Realty is an open-minded, fun-loving real estate team of 11 leaders (including agents and staff). We are not your average buttoned-up agents. We help people and families from all backgrounds and all price points and have fun doing it. We have nearly 130 five-star Yelp reviews, and not by accident! Last year, we closed a record 70+ deals. This year, we’re on track to hit 100+. (And with you on our team, even more, next year!) Our team is big on culture and camaraderie. We support one another through challenges and wins. We value growth and education and are looking for lifelong learners to join us. We think outside the box and know all the creative ways people can build wealth in even the most unpredictable market. We want to make a difference in our communities.
We live and work all over the East Bay, but our market center is in Temescal, Oakland. Ideally, you live within a 30-minute drive to our office (must have a reliable car for occasional errands). While much of your work can be conducted remotely, we care a lot about culture and would expect you to be in the office 2-3 days a week.
Type of employment/hours: Full-time, M-F 9-5:30 with occasional weekend availability for
special events and backup coverage.
Compensation: $65,000-$80,000 depending on experience, plus a 30% referral bonus for any
business you bring to the team. Per transaction bonuses available after 6 months.
Benefits: We offer unlimited paid time off after 90 days within reason. As long as you’re getting
the job done and not abusing the privilege, we don’t feel the need to place arbitrary limits on
your vacation or sick days. You’ll be eligible for 401k with 3% employer contribution after 12
months and 100% paid health insurance after 6 months.
EEO statement: We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We
do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual
orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. All are encouraged to apply.
P.S. We REALLY mean this.
