We are seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant and Marketing Intern to join our team! The top candidate will be will be a motivated self-starter who has the right balance between perfectionist/detail oriented and creative. We are looking for someone who is quick on their feet and can multi-task between multiple assignments without getting flustered.

This position will require a commitment of between 10-15 hours per week but will vary week by week. This is the ideal internship as some work can be completed from home, while other work will require you to come into our office in Mansfield or visit job sites in southern MA. Some tasks must be completed during business hours, while others can be done on weekends or late night with complete flexibility. While there is a great deal of flexibility this candidate will need to be able to self schedule based on the weeks demands and ensure deadlines are not missed.

This internship is approximately 40% administrative and 40% Marketing based so candidates must be open to both types of work. This role requires some level of project management skills and the ability to see a project from start to finish and meet and track deadlines.

Responsibilities

Administrative Tasks:

  • Visit local towns to facilitate and meet town officials for property inspections
  • Meet photographers and other vendors to provide access
  • Prepare and send out monthly mailers to past clients and database
  • Prepare flyers for properties and print packets
  • Oversee project deadlines and ensure extensions are prepared and distributed when necessary
  • Order closing gifts for clients
  • Update sales pipeline with relevant dates and details to ensure up to date sales trajectory

Marketing Tasks:

  • Prepare print marketing materials for properties and database
  • Create social media posts templates for Instagram, Instagram Stories, and Facebook
  • Create monthly e-newsletter including design and copy through Mailchimp or similar program
  • Create and facilitate boosted social media posts (training can be provided on this)
  • Create other marketing collateral as needed by the team
  • Modify copy and send templated emails for new hires, and clients periodically

Qualifications
  • Maintain confidentiality when assisting to problem-solve for clients and the team
  • Customer service or administrative experience in the industry is preferred
  • Be a strong communicator
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; can empathize and build relationships with a variety of personalities
  • Attention to detail and keen organization skills are needed
  • Time management is important; complete changing tasks on a day to day basis with little supervision
  • Advanced skills in facebook and instagram, particularly instagram stories
  • Creative thinker, who also possess a high attention to detail - perfectionist strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and at a fast pace, while also being a team player
  • Experience with Canva and a keen sense of design
  • Excel background strongly preferred
  • Google suite experience
  • Candidates pursuing a degree in business, marketing, communications or similar field strongly encouraged to apply
  • Must have a vehicle and access to reliable transportation
  • Must have a laptop and cell phone
Compensation
$13 - $15 hourly
