The Accounting Clerk is responsible for managing the Firm's processes and systems related to time-keeping, billing, retainer replenishment, accepting payments, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Reviews case management or time & billing system weekly
• Prepares reports on Billable hours, invoices sent, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Processes invoice payments
• Manages retainer accounts
• Oversees A/R collections
• Creates and generates dashboard reports
• Pays bills and manages accounts payable
• Coordinates Payroll processing

• Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business
• At least two years of related experience required
• Experience with billing and accounting software
• Experience using Quickbooks
• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Comfort working with budgets, revenue, and forecasting
