We re hiring a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for an integral position in our rental property team. You'll assist the Property Accountant with all aspects of accounting. Assist Property Managers and Maintenance department with billing and administrative duties. Candidates should be experienced problem-solvers, well-organized, detail-oriented, and time-efficient. 

Compensation: $40,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Primarily responsible for all customer service including owner and tenant relations by phone and e-mail
  • Process rent checks and bank deposits
  • Assist Property Manager with rent increase notices and delinquency reports
  • Carry out administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning and maintain records
  • All aspects of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable such as billing work orders, entering utility bills and vendor invoices
  • Work closely with the Maintenance department on resolving billing inquiries
  • Research vendor payment inquiries and act as the main point of contact for vendors
  • Set up new propertys, owner, tenant and vendor in the system
  • Assist Property Accountant on ad hoc projects

Compensation
