Keller Williams Realty is a well established, fast growing real estate company in the Sacramento Valley and we are in search of the next Leader to add to our Leadership/Administrative team. 

We have an opening for an Accounting Assistant which embodies the elements of leadership, accounting and operations in the position. Candidates should exhibit natural leadership ability and have a servant leader's mindset, strong relationship-building skills, be motivated, energized, possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be a flexible team player. 

They must have a strong sense of urgency with attention to detail and the ability to execute in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. The right candidates will be able to have fun and create a fun environment while achieving office goals.


The Accounting Assistant's duties include the speedy and accurate processing of the following:

  • Real Estate Commission Processing - from creating demands to posting checks and handing them to well-deserved sales associates
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable
  • Other duties include daily/weekly/monthly reporting, remote deposit capture, weekly soft close and other bookkeeping and office administrative duties


The Accounting Assistant will have a bookkeeping background (understands and has processed in the full accounting cycle) an accommodating and supportive spirit, as well as strong attention to detail. They will also demonstrate consistency, strong follow-up skills, and great follow-through along with ongoing professionalism with the rest of the leadership team, staff, sales associates, clients and vendors.

The ideal candidate will be flexible enough to handle the growth and demands of our fast-paced, high-profile, training focused office while being persistent and organized with routine, repetitive tasks and will be comfortable maintaining existing systems and implementing new ones. This person will posses qualities such as a commitment to excellence, the ability to focus in a distracting environment, unwavering integrity, results-oriented mindset and a self-disciplined focus.

Other Qualifications:

  • Some college accounting
  • 2 years of outstanding bookkeeping experience
  • 2 years of excellent customer service experience
  • Intermediate MS Office/Google Docs skills
  • Real Estate experience a plus
