We are looking for an experienced individual who will assist the Team Leader, agents, and the team in all financial matters at Keller Williams Town Life in Tenafly, NJ. You will be a part of the top team, reporting directly to the Team Leader, and your work will be a critical factor in our overall performance. This person must exhibit natural leadership ability, strong relationship-building skills, and be a flexible team player

We are looking for someone who relishes the opportunity to build, implement, and manage the operations of the company with minimal supervision. The Accountant/Office Manager (Market Center Administrator) is deeply committed to completing tasks the right way with a high degree of urgency, with an attention to detail, quality, and consistent communication. They are leaders in strategic, financial decision-making to retain agents and grow profitability, and ensure appropriate bookkeeping and accounting systems are accurately maintained.

The right candidate is an individual who is a rapid problem solver, who easily and quickly learns from their environment, and who appreciates an efficient work structure. They are able to think through a problem or solution in order to present it logically to others and enjoy a variety of responsibilities in an ever-changing environment. They strive to cultivate trust and goodwill through effective communication and are concerned about doing what is right. MCAs have a track record of success in supportive leadership roles with an extensive background in and knowledge of financial accounting.

Compensation and Extras

  • Base salary of $55,000
  • Bonus potential after 90 days of employment (estimated earning averaging $20k)

  • Conduct office trainings and engage audience

  • Hiring, training, and consulting personnel
  • Ability to hold the team accountable to their job responsibilities and goals
  • Introduction of new products/services to existing agent associates and implement new company initiatives
  • Strong IT skills necessary
  • Maintaining database management system(s) and multiple company tracking sheets
  • Providing extraordinary customer services to Agents and their Admin Staff

Primary Objectives:

  • All financial accounting
  • Accurate banking and accounting service
  • Computerized bookkeeping through general ledger and financials
  • Extensive computer experience
  • Purchasing
  • General office skills and office management
  • Provide extraordinary customer service to our “customer”, our agents, and aid in retention and growing their businesses
  • Lead, manage, and oversee team
  • Oversee all administrative and operations systems in the office
  • Assist Team Leader in overseeing agents


  • Accurate bookkeeping and financial accounting, advanced
  • Google Docs skills in Sheets, Documents, and Presentations
  • Microsoft skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word
  • Advanced Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel abilities to build spreadsheets with formulas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 3 years minimum accounting experience
  • 3 years minimum managerial experience
  • Ability to pass accounting assessment as part of the interview process
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Passionate about leading the organization and team to meet higher growth and profit goals
  • Tech-savvy
  • Extremely detail-oriented and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
