Hyspeco is looking for a self-motivated Accountant to join our financial team! The ideal candidate will play an important part in the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with the law. Additionally, the Accountant would perform corporate accounting duties including internal and external financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets. Perform month-end closing activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, financial statement preparation, account analysis, and segment reporting and would work with Sales Management to ensure accurate sales territory assignments, sales history, weekly and monthly reporting, and sales budgets. This position would also assist with corporate audits, external reviews, governmental surveys, and compliance reporting including participating in a wide variety of special projects and compiling special financial and inventory reports.

• Perform corporate accounting duties for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgets.
• Perform month-end closing activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, financial statement preparation, account analysis, and segment reporting.
• Work with Sales Management to ensure accurate sales territory assignments, sales history, weekly and monthly reporting, and sales budgets.
• Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes, data, and enhance the company's value.
• Assist with corporate audits, external reviews, governmental surveys, and compliance reporting.
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special financial and inventory reports.
• Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Training or experience with financial ERP solutions.

Preferred Education and Experience

• 1-2 years accounting experience.
• Payroll experience
• Asset/Depreciation software experience
